Features:
- Watchdog Repeater (WDR) Module
- Monitors the 5 Vdc and 24 Vdc supplied to the I/O modules
- Watchdog repeater is required if the required watchdog current exceeds 900 mA
The watchdog repeater is used to monitor the 5V and 24V DC power supply for I/O modules. The watchdog output of the watchdog repeater connects to the watchdog input of the monitored power supply (5V and/or 24V DC) output module. The watchdog repeater requires a horizontal bus connection. This means that space must be reserved in the I/O rack (positions 1, 2, 11-18).
The watchdog repeater must always be placed in the I/O section containing the output module it monitors. This means that in configurations with multiple (redundant) I/O sections, the watchdog repeater must not be installed in a way that allows it to control “other” I/O sections.
The 10302/2/1 Honeywell Watchdog Repeater (WDR) Module may still be available for purchase and support from Moore Automated Company beyond End-Of-Life (EOL) by the manufacturer (OEM).
