Features:
- Safe digital output FTA (24/48/110 Vdc, 4 channels)
- Field termination assembly module TSDO-04UNI
- The FTA module has a universal snap-in provision for standard DIN EN rails
The TSDO-04UNI field termination module is the interface between the system interconnect cable SICC-0001/Lx and external field wiring (screw terminals). Four channels of a pair (redundant pair) of SDO-04x modules or SDOL-04x modules can be connected to the TSDO-04UNI module via the system interconnect cable SICC-0001/Lx.
The FTA module features a universal snap-on mounting method suitable for standard DIN EN rails and is equipped with screw terminals for connecting field wiring.
The FC-TSDO-04UNI Honeywell Fail-Safe Digital Output module may still be available for purchase and support from Moore Automated Company beyond End-Of-Life (EOL) by the manufacturer (OEM).

The FC-TSDO-04UNI operates based on an industrial digital output signal generation and power drive control mechanism. After receiving digital control commands from a higher-level control system (such as a PLC or DCS), the module decodes and allocates the signals through internal logic circuits, then drives the output-stage semiconductor switching devices or relay drive stages to achieve on/off control of field devices.
High-voltage field device control: Digital outputs for safely switching devices operating at different DC voltages (24V, 48V, 60V, or 110V).
Emergency shutdown (ESD): Connected to safety controllers to trigger shutdowns of critical machinery or processes in oil, gas, and manufacturing plants.
Critical load switching: Drives heavy equipment requiring reliable fail-safe conditions, such as motors, solenoid valves, and high-capacity actuators.
Harsh industrial environments: Commonly used in refineries and chemical plants where SIL3 safety certification and robust extreme temperature protection (-40°C to +70°C) are required.
