The Schneider Electric 140DDM39000 is a comprehensive hybrid discrete I/O module. This component supports 24 discrete inputs and outputs, allowing for easy integration into a variety of systems. Both input and output logic are configured with current-sinking inputs, supporting 24V DC power supplies and ensuring compatibility with common industrial hardware. The discrete outputs utilize solid-state technology for enhanced durability. Each discrete input has an impedance of 2500 ohms, contributing to efficient signal processing.
This module features two sets of discrete inputs, each containing 8 inputs. Its bus current requirement is only 350 mA, resulting in extremely low power consumption. A maximum load capacitance of 50 μF further expands its application range. Weighing only 0.7 lbs (0.3 kg), the module is lightweight yet robust. In terms of network compatibility, its effective operating frequency range is 47 to 63 Hz.

The front panel features a set of diagnostic LED indicators for quick access to the current operating status:
16 green LEDs (numbered 1-16): Real-time display of the on/off status of each field input channel.
8 green LEDs (numbered 1-8): Real-time display of the on/off status of each field output channel.
1 red LED (F): This indicator will illuminate if the system configuration detects an internal or external module fault.
1 green LED (Active): This indicator will flash or remain constantly lit when backplane bus communication is normal.
