It primarily provides robust network connectivity for Quantum PLC systems, supporting the standard Ethernet TCP/IP protocol, enabling the controller to easily exchange data at high speed with host software (such as SCADA), human-machine interfaces (HMIs), and other PLCs.
This module integrates web server functionality, allowing maintenance personnel to remotely view system status, diagnostic information, and perform network configurations via a standard browser, significantly improving system management flexibility.

It acquires status data or variables from the PLC processor via the Quantum backplane, encapsulates this data into TCP/IP frames, and sends them to the physical network via the RJ45 interface. When a request is received from the network, the module's internal communication processor parses the data packets, extracts Modbus or other protocol instructions, and converts them into read/write operations recognizable by the PLC. This efficient protocol conversion and concurrent processing mechanism ensures transparent, real-time bidirectional communication between the industrial control layer and the information monitoring layer.
