The 1784-CF64 is a compact industrial-grade Logic 556x card manufactured by Allen-Bradley. Belonging to the A series, it has a data storage capacity of 64 MB and weighs only 14.2 grams. Primarily designed for the Allen-Bradley ControlLogix L6 controller, this industrial-grade storage unit provides non-volatile memory for the ControlLogix controller.
The card is easy to install into the controller. During installation, the ControlLogix device must be completely powered off. The card should be inserted into the slot on the bottom of the controller.

The 1784-CF64 card operates in a temperature range of 0 to 60 degrees Celsius and has a storage temperature range of -40 to 85 degrees Celsius. It complies with IEC standards and can withstand 4 kV contact discharge and 8 kV air discharge. Furthermore, this compact card is C-Tick and CE certified.
The 1784-CF64 compact memory card provides a permanent backup solution in the event of battery failure in ControlLogix devices and controllers. Data on the CompactFlash card can be used for archiving and recipe processing. The controller offers a scalable solution to help address I/O point issues. The ControlLogix controller is equipped with a communication port for direct connection to Ethernet-enabled devices and networks. To extend the memory card's lifespan, the 1784-CF64 compact memory card should be protected from electrostatic discharge and electromagnetic noise.
