The 21000 and 24701 Proximity Probe Housing Assemblies are available with Canadian Standards Association (CSA) approvals. They are rated explosion proof for hazardous areas. Bently Nevada offers a probe support and oil seal (part number 37948-01) for long sleeves that must go through an inner bearing housing.

Eddy current proximity sensor or system component, commonly used in the monitoring of industrial rotating machinery. Its working principle is based on high-frequency electromagnetic field coupling and the eddy current effect, and it is mainly used for non-contact measurement of shaft vibration, displacement, or axial motion.
This component is primarily used in equipment such as steam turbines, centrifugal compressors, and large pumps to mount sensors that measure radial vibration or axial position. The lightweight aluminum housing is an ideal alternative to stainless steel and is suitable for industrial environments where corrosion resistance requirements are not stringent.
