The 21000 and 24701 Proximity Probe Housing Assemblies are available with Canadian Standards Association (CSA) approvals. They are rated explosion proof for hazardous areas. Bently Nevada offers a probe support and oil seal (part number 37948-01) for long sleeves that must go through an inner bearing housing.

Eddy current proximity sensor or system component, commonly used in the monitoring of industrial rotating machinery. Its working principle is based on high-frequency electromagnetic field coupling and the eddy current effect, and it is mainly used for non-contact measurement of shaft vibration, displacement, or axial motion.
Condition Monitoring: Measures radial vibration or axial thrust in critical machinery such as steam turbines, compressors, and large electric motors.
Corrosive Environments: Unlike the aluminum 21000 series, the 24701 is made of 303 stainless steel, making it ideal for environments where aluminum is highly corrosive, such as offshore platforms, oil refineries, and chemical plants.
Hazardous Areas: This component is CSA certified and meets Class I Zone 1 and Zone 2 explosion-proof enclosure (Type 4) standards.
External Probe Maintenance: The enclosure allows technicians to adjust probe clearance or replace sensors from outside the machine without costly downtime for maintenance.

High Durability: The 3300 XL series probes operate over a temperature range of -51°C to +177°C.
