The Bently Nevada 146054-011-20-02-05 is a 3300 Ceramic Capped Probe developed for machinery-monitoring applications where conventional proximity probes may be exposed to aggressive chemical or high-pressure conditions. Bently Nevada states that the 146054 family is intended for applications where only the front of the probe-case assembly is exposed to corrosive gases and liquids. The alumina ceramic cap and 304 stainless-steel probe case provide additional protection for applications such as anhydrous ammonia and other extreme-pH environments.
The front ceramic-to-metal interface is helium leak-tested to provide a hermetic seal, and the ceramic-capped probe is compatible with the 3300 Proximitor Sensor and extension cable. Bently Nevada also identifies the broader 3300 ceramic-capped solution as a specialized proximity-sensing option for corrosive, chemical, and high-pressure machinery-monitoring environments.
The 146054-011-20-02-05 Bently Nevada Acceleration Sensor may still be available for purchase and support from Moore Automated Company beyond End-Of-Life (EOL) by the manufacturer (OEM).

The 146054-011-20-02-05 configuration uses a 3/8-24 UNF probe thread, a 1.1-inch case, and a 2.0 m total probe length. The -02 configuration uses the miniature coaxial ClickLoc connector with standard cable, while -05 specifies the multiple-approval configuration.
The ceramic-capped probe is rated for 34 bar (500 psi) at the front ceramic interface. Bently Nevada states that modifications are available for applications involving higher pressures, so higher-pressure requirements should be confirmed with the manufacturer rather than assumed from the standard configuration.
A critical installation consideration is that the 146054 probe does not have a rear fitting or stainless-steel tube, meaning the rear of the probe is not sealed. Bently Nevada specifically warns that the rear must not be exposed to destructive environments such as water, NH₃, NH₄OH, or hydrogen sulfide.
