Information

Overview Manuals Principle

Features:

  • 3300 XL 8 mm Reverse Mount Probes
  • 330105-02-12 3/8-24 UNF threads
  • 3300 XL 8 mm Proximity Transducer System
The system provides an output voltage that is directly proportional to the distance between the probe tip and the observed conductive surface and can measure both static (position) and dynamic (vibration) values. The system’s primary applications are vibration and position measurements on fluid-film bearing machines, as well as Keyphasor reference and speed measurements.

The 3300 XL probe, extension cable, and Proximitor sensor have corrosion-resistant, gold-plated ClickLoc connectors. These connectors require only finger-tight torque (the connectors will "click" when tight), and the specially-engineered locking mechanism prevents the connectors from loosening. These connectors require no special tools for installation or removal.

The 330105-02-12-10-02-CN Bently Nevada 3300 XL 8 mm Reverse Mount Probes may still be available for purchase and support from Moore Automated Company beyond End-Of-Life (EOL) by the manufacturer (OEM).
Bently Nevada 330105-02-12-10-02-CN 3300 XL 8 mm Reverse Mount Probes Manuals(Datasheets), Link Important Notice: Other accessories, manuals, cables, calibration data, software, etc. are not included with this equipment unless listed in the above stock item description. All prices are shown in USD.
Each 3300 XL 8 mm Transducer System component is backward compatible and interchangeable4 with other nonXL 3300 series 5 mm and 8 mm transducer system components. This compatibility includes the 3300 5 mm probe, for applications in which an 8 mm probe is too large for the available mounting space.

Ask our team:

  • What strategic functional role does 330105-02-12-10-02-CN assume within the 3300 XL 8 mm Proximity Transducer System ecosystem?
The 330105-02-12-10-02-CN is an 8 mm eddy-current proximity probe engineered as a precision displacement sensing element within the 3300 XL 8 mm Proximity Transducer System. It facilitates non-contact measurement of radial vibration, axial position, and shaft displacement in critical rotating machinery.
  • How does 330105-02-12-10-02-CN implement eddy-current transduction to achieve high-fidelity shaft position monitoring?
The 330105-02-12-10-02-CN generates a radio-frequency electromagnetic field at the probe tip. Variations in the conductive target’s proximity induce measurable impedance changes, which are converted into a proportional voltage signal representing dynamic or static displacement.
  • What calibrated linear range and scale factor characteristics define the measurement performance of 330105-02-12-10-02-CN?
The 330105-02-12-10-02-CN is manufactured to conform to the calibrated linear range specified for 8 mm systems, delivering a consistent scale factor when paired with the designated extension cable and proximitor sensor. This ensures predictable amplitude response and accurate gap-to-voltage correlation.
  • Why must 330105-02-12-10-02-CN be deployed as part of a matched probe–extension–proximitor assembly?
The 330105-02-12-10-02-CN is impedance-matched to specific extension cables and proximitor modules to preserve system linearity, phase stability, and temperature compensation. Deviations from the matched configuration can compromise measurement accuracy and calibration integrity.
  • Under what thermodynamic and environmental constraints can 330105-02-12-10-02-CN maintain operational stability?
The 330105-02-12-10-02-CN is engineered to withstand elevated temperatures, oil exposure, humidity, and mechanical vibration typical of turbomachinery housings. Its sealed probe construction and robust materials ensure long-term durability under harsh industrial conditions.
  • How does 330105-02-12-10-02-CN contribute to advanced machinery protection and predictive maintenance paradigms?
By continuously monitoring shaft displacement and vibration amplitude, the 330105-02-12-10-02-CN provides critical data for detecting imbalance, misalignment, shaft rub, and thrust position anomalies. This data enables proactive fault diagnosis and automated protection system responses.
