Information

Overview Manuals Principle

Features:

  • 3300 XL 8 mm Reverse Mount Probes
  • 330106-05-30 M10 x 1 threads
  • 3300 XL 8 mm Proximity Transducer System
The system provides an output voltage that is directly proportional to the distance between the probe tip and the observed conductive surface and can measure both static (position) and dynamic (vibration) values. The system’s primary applications are vibration and position measurements on fluid-film bearing machines, as well as Keyphasor reference and speed measurements.

The 3300 XL probe, extension cable, and Proximitor sensor have corrosion-resistant, gold-plated ClickLoc connectors. These connectors require only finger-tight torque (the connectors will "click" when tight), and the specially-engineered locking mechanism prevents the connectors from loosening. These connectors require no special tools for installation or removal.

The 330106-05-30-05-02-CN Bently Nevada 3300 XL 8 mm Reverse Mount Probes may still be available for purchase and support from Moore Automated Company beyond End-Of-Life (EOL) by the manufacturer (OEM).
Bently Nevada 330106-05-30-05-02-CN 3300 XL 8 mm Reverse Mount Probes Manuals(Datasheets), Link Important Notice: Other accessories, manuals, cables, calibration data, software, etc. are not included with this equipment unless listed in the above stock item description. All prices are shown in USD.
Each 3300 XL 8 mm Transducer System component is backward compatible and interchangeable4 with other nonXL 3300 series 5 mm and 8 mm transducer system components. This compatibility includes the 3300 5 mm probe, for applications in which an 8 mm probe is too large for the available mounting space.

Ask our team:

  • What engineered sensing function does 330106-05-30-05-02-CN execute within the 3300 XL 8 mm Proximity Transducer System architecture?
The 330106-05-30-05-02-CN is an 8 mm eddy-current proximity probe designed as a precision displacement transducer within the 3300 XL 8 mm Proximity Transducer System. It facilitates non-contact measurement of radial vibration and axial shaft position in critical rotating machinery.
  • How does 330106-05-30-05-02-CN operationalize eddy-current field modulation to achieve micrometric displacement resolution?
The 330106-05-30-05-02-CN emits a high-frequency electromagnetic field from its probe tip. Fluctuations in the conductive target gap alter the probe’s impedance characteristics, generating a proportional voltage signal that accurately reflects shaft movement dynamics.
  • What calibrated linear measurement envelope characterizes the performance of 330106-05-30-05-02-CN?
The 330106-05-30-05-02-CN adheres to the standardized linear range defined for 8 mm probe systems. When combined with its matched extension cable and proximitor module, it ensures a stable scale factor and predictable displacement-to-voltage correlation.
  • Why must 330106-05-30-05-02-CN be deployed as part of a matched transducer assembly rather than as a standalone sensing element?
The 330106-05-30-05-02-CN is impedance-calibrated to operate within a designated probe–extension cable–proximitor configuration. This matched system architecture preserves linearity, phase accuracy, and thermal compensation across the specified operating conditions.
  • Under what environmental and thermomechanical constraints can 330106-05-30-05-02-CN sustain metrological stability?
The 330106-05-30-05-02-CN is constructed to endure elevated temperatures, lubricating oil exposure, humidity variations, and mechanical vibration typical of turbine and compressor enclosures. Its robust and sealed probe body ensures operational longevity.
  • How does 330106-05-30-05-02-CN enhance predictive maintenance methodologies in rotating asset diagnostics?
By continuously delivering displacement and vibration data, the 330106-05-30-05-02-CN enables early detection of imbalance, shaft eccentricity, thrust displacement irregularities, and rub events. This information supports advanced condition-based maintenance strategies.
