Information

Overview Manuals Principle

Features:

  • 3300 XL 11 mm Proximity Probes
  • 3300 XL 11 mm Probe, 1/2-20 UNF thread, without armor
  • 3300 XL 11 mm Proximity Transducer System
The 3300 XL 11 mm Proximity Transducer System has a 3.94 V/mm (100 mV/mil) output for non-contacting vibration and displacement measurements on fluid film bearing machines. The large 11 mm tip enables this transducer system to have a longer linear range compared to our standard 3300 XL 8 mm Transducer System.

The 3300 XL 11 mm Proximitor Sensor is designed to replace the 7200-series 11 mm and 14 mm Transducer Systems. When upgrading from the 7200-series system to the 3300 XL 11 mm system, every component must be replaced with 3300 XL 11 mm components. In addition, the monitoring system must be updated. If using a 3500 Monitoring System, an updated version of the configuration software that lists the 3300 XL 11 mm Transducer System as a compatible option is required.

The 330701-00-20-10-02-00 Bently Nevada Proximity Probes may still be available for purchase and support from Moore Automated Company beyond End-Of-Life (EOL) by the manufacturer (OEM).
Bently Nevada 330701-00-20-10-02-00 3300 XL 11 mm Proximity Probes Manuals(Datasheets), Link Important Notice: Other accessories, manuals, cables, calibration data, software, etc. are not included with this equipment unless listed in the above stock item description. All prices are shown in USD.
The 3300 XL 11 mm probe comes in varying probe case configurations, including armored and unarmored ½-20, 5⁄8 -18, M14 X 1.5 and M16 X 1.5 probe threads. The reverse mount 3300 XL 11 mm probe comes standard with either 3⁄8-24 or M10 X 1 threads. All components of the transducer system have gold-plated brass ClickLoc connectors. ClickLoc connectors lock into place, preventing the connection from becoming loose.

Ask our team:

  • What electromagnetic sensing architecture defines the operational mechanism of 330701-00-20-10-02-00, and how does 330701-00-20-10-02-00 function within the 3300 XL 11 mm Proximity Transducer System?
The 330701-00-20-10-02-00 operates on an advanced eddy-current displacement measurement principle within the 3300 XL 11 mm system. It generates a high-frequency electromagnetic field at the probe tip, and variations in probe-to-target gap alter the coil impedance. The 330701-00-20-10-02-00 converts these impedance changes into a proportional voltage signal for high-range shaft displacement monitoring.
  • How does 330701-00-20-10-02-00 achieve extended linear measurement capability compared with smaller diameter proximity probes?
The 330701-00-20-10-02-00 features an 11 mm probe diameter, enabling a larger electromagnetic field and extended linear measurement range. This design allows the 330701-00-20-10-02-00 to accommodate larger shaft diameters and greater displacement amplitudes while maintaining proportional output accuracy and stable sensitivity.
  • Why is factory system matching essential for preserving measurement precision in 330701-00-20-10-02-00?
The 330701-00-20-10-02-00 is engineered as a calibrated component within a matched probe–cable–Proximitor® assembly. Electrical parameters such as inductance, capacitance, and gain are aligned at manufacturing. This system-level calibration ensures that the 330701-00-20-10-02-00 maintains defined scale factors and linear response without field recalibration.
  • What defines the frequency response bandwidth of 330701-00-20-10-02-00, and how does it support both static and dynamic shaft monitoring?
The 330701-00-20-10-02-00 supports a wide frequency response suitable for measuring slow axial position drift and high-frequency vibration components. Its signal conditioning circuitry minimizes phase distortion and amplitude attenuation, enabling accurate tracking of rotor dynamic behavior in high-speed machinery.
  • How does 330701-00-20-10-02-00 maintain signal stability in high electromagnetic interference environments?
The 330701-00-20-10-02-00 incorporates shielded cable construction and robust grounding strategies to suppress external electromagnetic disturbances. These EMC protection mechanisms ensure that the 330701-00-20-10-02-00 delivers stable and noise-resistant displacement signals in electrically intensive industrial settings.
