- Individual M8 x 1 mounting adapter
- 330500 Velomitor Piezo-velocity Sensor
- Designed to measure absolute (relative to free space) bearing housing, casing, or structural vibration
Bently Nevada™ Velomitor Piezo-velocity Sensors are designed to measure absolute (relative to free space) bearing housing, casing, or structural vibration. The 330500 is a specialized piezoelectric accelerometer that incorporates embedded integrated electronics in a solid-state design.
Because the 330500 incorporates solid-state electronics and has no moving parts, it does not suffer from mechanical degradation and wear, and can be mounted vertically, horizontally, or at any other angle of orientation.
The 89410-01 Bently Nevada Individual M8 x 1 mounting adapter may still be available for purchase and support from Moore Automated Company beyond End-Of-Life (EOL) by the manufacturer (OEM).

When the probe approaches a conductive target such as a rotating shaft, an alternating magnetic field induces eddy currents in the target material. Changes in the gap between the probe and the target alter the amplitude of these induced currents, thereby modulating the oscillator signal. Associated signal conditioning electronics process this modulated signal and convert it into a proportional DC voltage output representing displacement. This non-contact measurement method ensures high accuracy, rapid dynamic response, and reliable performance in harsh industrial environments.
Sensor Mounting: Used to mount Velomitor sensors onto rotating machinery with M8 metric threaded holes.
Condition Monitoring: Measures absolute vibrations in bearing housings, machine housings, or structural supports of machinery such as pumps, fans, and motors.
Low-Frequency Monitoring: Typically used in conjunction with the 330505 low-frequency speed sensor to monitor turbines or low-speed rotating equipment.
Spare Parts: This spare part or replacement is usually ordered when the sensor is moved or reinstalled on different machinery.
