The module uses a dedicated high-speed processor with 384 kB Flash for the user program and 80 kB user program memory, allowing deterministic task-based control separate from the host drive control processor.
Program compatibility depends on the module type and firmware. Preserve the original project, compile settings and module revision before replacement.
CTNet provides peer-to-peer drive networking at rates up to 5 Mbit/s. The EIA-RS485 port supports documented ANSI, Modbus-RTU slave/master and Modbus-ASCII slave/master operation.
Record CTNet node addressing, baud rate, termination, serial protocol and mapping before removal. Restore only the approved network configuration.
