1SFA899301R1007 (model: PSPCB-CB-1) and 1SFB536268D1007 are the core internal electronic board components of ABB's PSTX30 to PSTX170 series advanced soft starters. The former, as the main control board, is responsible for the calculation, parameter configuration, human-machine interface (HMI) interaction, fieldbus communication, and execution of integrated motor protection algorithms (such as electronic overload protection, underload protection, and phase sequence reverse connection protection) of the entire soft starter.
Its main function is to receive low-voltage control commands from the main control board and convert them into high-energy, high-voltage trigger pulses, directly controlling the conduction angle of the three-phase thyristors in the main circuit. This drive board can finely adjust the changes in output voltage and current, thereby achieving smooth voltage ramp-up or torque control of the motor. When the motor reaches full speed, it controls the built-in bypass contactor to engage, thereby reducing energy consumption.
The 1SFA899301R1007 PSPCB-CB-1 1SFB536268D1007 ABB Printed Circuit Board PCB may still be available for purchase and support from Moore Automated Company beyond End-Of-Life (EOL) by the manufacturer (OEM).

This control board serves as the central processing unit for the low-to-medium range PSTX soft starter. It processes the gate trigger signals of the thyristors (SCR), handles logic inputs, manages advanced motor protection functions, and coordinates embedded communication on the equipment's field terminal lines.
This soft starter employs modern power electronic phase control technology. During motor startup, the main control board performs real-time algorithm calculations based on the user-defined startup time and load curve, continuously sending control pulse signals to the drive board.
The drive board receives these signals, performs electrical isolation and power amplification, and precisely triggers the three-phase parallel thyristors. By changing the thyristor conduction angle, the voltage applied to the motor stator is smoothly adjusted, thereby optimizing the motor's starting current and torque control.
During operation or shutdown, the main control board continuously monitors the current and voltage feedback of the main circuit via current transformers. If any network or load abnormality is detected (e.g., overload or stall), the main control board immediately cuts off the pulse signals from the drive board, providing instantaneous protection for the motor and the soft starter itself.
