Overview Manuals Principle

Features:

  • Module of GE Fanuc series 90-30 PLC systems
  • 16-Channel Analog Voltage Input module
  • This PLC will give you 16 single-ended or 8 differential input channels
The IC693ALG222 is a 16-channel analog voltage input module for GE Fanuc 90-30 series PLCs. This module provides 16 single-ended input channels or 8 differential input channels. The analog input module comes with easy-to-use configuration software and supports two input ranges: -10 to +10 V and 0 to 10 V.

This module converts analog signals to digital signals. The IC693ALG222 accepts both unipolar and bipolar input signals. The unipolar signal range is 0 to +10 V, and the bipolar signal range is -10 V to +10 V. This module can be installed in any I/O slot of the 90-30 programmable control system. Connectors are provided on the module for connecting user equipment.

The IC693ALG222C GENERAL ELECTRIC Analog Voltage Input module may still be available for purchase and support from Moore Automated Company beyond End-Of-Life (EOL) by the manufacturer (OEM).
GENERAL ELECTRIC IC693ALG222C Analog Voltage Input module datasheet(manual), Link Important Notice: Other accessories, manuals, cables, calibration data, software, etc. are not included with this equipment unless listed in the above stock item description. All prices are shown in USD.
The IC693ALG222 module can be configured via the logic master programming software or handheld programming. If the user chooses handheld programming, only the currently active channel can be edited; scanned active channels cannot be edited. This module uses the %AI data table to record analog signals for use by a programmable logic controller (PLC).

Ask our team:

  • What analog signal generation architecture defines the operational functionality of IC693ALG222C within a Series 90-30 control system?
The IC693ALG222C is engineered as a multi-channel analog output module designed to convert digital control values into proportional voltage or current signals. Through integrated digital-to-analog conversion circuitry and precision signal conditioning, IC693ALG222C delivers stable process control outputs for actuators, drives, and instrumentation systems.
  • How does IC693ALG222C implement digital-to-analog conversion to ensure output linearity and signal fidelity?
The IC693ALG222C incorporates high-resolution DAC components combined with calibrated reference circuitry to maintain accurate voltage/current scaling. By minimizing conversion error and offset drift, IC693ALG222C preserves linearity between commanded digital values and physical analog output.
  • What configurable output ranges and signal modes are supported by IC693ALG222C for industrial compatibility?
The IC693ALG222C typically supports selectable output ranges such as 0–10V, ±10V, or 4–20mA depending on configuration. This flexibility enables IC693ALG222C to interface with diverse industrial devices including control valves, variable frequency drives, and proportional actuators.
  • How does IC693ALG222C manage channel isolation to prevent interference and signal degradation?
The IC693ALG222C integrates isolation mechanisms between channels and the backplane to reduce noise coupling and ground loop effects. This isolation architecture ensures that IC693ALG222C maintains output stability even in electrically noisy industrial environments.
  • How does IC693ALG222C ensure deterministic update behavior within the PLC scan cycle?
The IC693ALG222C receives output data from the CPU via the backplane during each control cycle. Its deterministic update mechanism ensures synchronized signal propagation, allowing IC693ALG222C to maintain real-time responsiveness in closed-loop control systems.
