Overview Manuals Principle

Features:

  • Module of GE Fanuc series 90-30 PLC systems
  • 90-30 Processor module
  • CPU 364 module with single slot width, processor speed of 25 MHz
The IC693CPU364 is a controller module in the 90-30 series. Manufactured by GE Fanuc Automation, this controller features an Ethernet interface, 240KB of user memory, an 80386EX processor (25 MHz), and a typical scan rate of 0.22 milliseconds per 1K logic contact.

The controller supports up to 2,048 discrete inputs, 2,048 discrete outputs, up to 1,280 bits of internal discrete global memory, 4,096 internal coils, and 256 temporary output coils. Using Logicmaster software, analog inputs can be configured in 128-word increments, ranging from 128 words to 16,384 words; using Control version 2.2, the range is from 128 words to 32,640 words.

The IC693CPU364 GENERAL ELECTRIC CPU Module may still be available for purchase and support from Moore Automated Company beyond End-Of-Life (EOL) by the manufacturer (OEM).
GENERAL ELECTRIC IC693CPU364 CPU Module datasheet(manual), Link Important Notice: Other accessories, manuals, cables, calibration data, software, etc. are not included with this equipment unless listed in the above stock item description. All prices are shown in USD.
It is equipped with an Ethernet communication port for programming and communication. Additionally, the controller can communicate via a built-in RS485 communication port mounted on the leftmost slot power supply of the backplane. The controller supports up to eight backplanes, one for CPU and the remaining seven for remote I/O.

Ask our team:

  • What processing and network integration architecture defines the operational capabilities of IC693CPU364 within a Series 90-30 control framework?
The IC693CPU364 is engineered as a high-performance central processing unit integrating embedded Ethernet connectivity into the Series 90-30 platform. Architecturally, IC693CPU364 combines deterministic ladder execution with native network communication, enabling synchronized control logic processing and industrial data exchange through a unified CPU core.
  • How does IC693CPU364 achieve deterministic scan-cycle execution while simultaneously managing integrated Ethernet communication tasks?
The IC693CPU364 utilizes a cyclic execution model in which application logic is processed in structured scan intervals. Concurrently, its embedded Ethernet interface operates through prioritized task scheduling, ensuring that communication handling does not compromise the deterministic performance of IC693CPU364.
  • What memory segmentation strategy is implemented in IC693CPU364 to separate program storage from runtime data retention?
The IC693CPU364 incorporates segmented memory architecture consisting of user program memory, data registers, and retentive storage areas supported by battery-backed RAM. This separation ensures that IC693CPU364 preserves critical operational parameters while maintaining efficient program execution.
  • How does the embedded Ethernet interface of IC693CPU364 enhance system-level interoperability in distributed automation networks?
The integrated Ethernet port within IC693CPU364 enables direct connectivity to SCADA systems, HMI platforms, and peer controllers without requiring additional communication modules. This network integration capability allows IC693CPU364 to support real-time data exchange and remote diagnostics through standardized protocols.
  • What diagnostic transparency features are embedded in IC693CPU364 to facilitate system monitoring and fault analysis?
The IC693CPU364 provides system fault tables, communication status indicators, and diagnostic registers accessible through programming software. These built-in monitoring capabilities allow operators to evaluate the operational health of IC693CPU364 and identify potential system anomalies.
