- Mark VIe & Mark VIeS Control Systems
- Mark V DS200 Series produced by General Electric
This circuit board plays a crucial signal aggregation role in power plant and heavy industry automation control, efficiently managing multiple input/output channels and ensuring accurate feedback of field device status to the core control unit.
Functionally, this circuit board boasts superior isolation and protection mechanisms. It integrates opto-isolation circuitry to effectively shield against electromagnetic interference and surge voltages in the field environment, preventing external faults from damaging sensitive electronic components within the control rack.
The DS200DDTBG2ABB GENERAL ELECTRIC LCI Auxiliary I/O Terminal Board may still be available for purchase and support from Moore Automated Company beyond End-Of-Life (EOL) by the manufacturer (OEM).

The DS200DDTBG2ABB employs signal conditioning and level conversion mechanisms. When an external contact closes or a sensor emits a digital pulse, the onboard circuitry first preprocesses the signal through current limiting and filtering, then uses an optocoupler to convert it into the logic level signal required by the control system. These conditioned signals are transmitted to the processor board for logic operations via a backplane connector and dedicated cable; conversely, control logic signals from the processor are amplified or driven by this circuit board to drive external relays or contactors.
- Steam Turbine Control and Management: This circuit board serves as the signal communication interface between the main turbine control module and field devices in gas turbine and steam turbine systems.
- High-Voltage Signal Conditioning: This is a "high-voltage board" used to scale, buffer, and isolate demanding system-level signals (such as high-voltage AC) for use by digital signal processors.
- Power Generation and Industrial Energy: Widely used in baseload and peak-shaving power generation in single-cycle and combined-cycle gas turbine power plants, as well as industrial cogeneration projects.
- Auxiliary Logic Processing: Manages critical start/stop sequences and enable logic for turbine auxiliary equipment (such as solenoid valves, motor starters, and various sensors).
