As the "G2" version, it is a function-specific iteration that maintains high-fidelity signal acquisition in static starters or excitation systems. This board serves as a critical interface between high-power electrical components and low-voltage control electronics.
It features multiple input channels for LEM current sensors, along with integrated signal conditioning circuitry for filtering and scaling the raw electrical signals. By measuring the bridge rectifier current in real time, the DS200FCSAG2ACB enables the system to perform precise current limiting, load balancing, and fault detection, protecting the turbine's electrical infrastructure from overcurrent damage.
The DS200FCSAG2ACB General Electric Control Current Sensing Interface Board may still be available for purchase and support from Moore Automated Company beyond End-Of-Life (EOL) by the manufacturer (OEM).

This board receives analog current signals from external sensors. These signals are processed by isolation and scaling amplifiers to match the input requirements of the control system's analog-to-digital converter (A/D converter). The processed signals are converted into voltage levels proportional to the instantaneous current flowing through the power bridge. Onboard logic compares these values to preset safety thresholds; if an anomaly such as a current surge is detected, the board immediately sends a feedback interrupt to the main controller, triggering a protection response or adjusting the gate trigger pulse to stabilize the output.
- Mark V Control Systems: Used in simplex and Triple Modular Redundancy (TMR) configurations to measure current and provide communication paths between other Mark V boards.
- Static Starter Power Conversion: Specifically installed in static starter power conversion cabinets for gas turbine generators.
- Industrial Monitoring: Used in power plants, refineries, and chemical plants to monitor pump and valve operation, as well as flow and temperature.
