Features:
- Multi-Conductor Interface Cable Assembly
- As a critical security-grade link
- The analog or high-density discrete signals from the process field transmitters are transmitted to the safety logic core
As a central connection hub in high-security control systems, this cable is designed for safety-grade interconnection between safety input/output (I/O) modules on control racks and field terminal panels.
By providing a high-integrity, interference-resistant physical signal link, this cable ensures high-speed, lossless, and low-latency transmission of critical safety signals, such as Emergency Stop (ESD) and Fire & Gas Detection (F&G) signals, in complex and harsh industrial environments.
The AD4000189-530 Schneider Electric Interface Cable Assembly may still be available for purchase and support from Moore Automated Company beyond End-Of-Life (EOL) by the manufacturer (OEM).

From a working principle perspective, the AD4000189-530 achieves high-integrity electrical signal transmission through a high-shield, low-attenuation physical topology and balanced impedance design. The cable internally utilizes multi-strand prefabricated high-purity copper core conductors. Each pair or group of critical signal lines is encapsulated in an independent metal shielding layer, combined with an overall braided shielding mesh, thereby simultaneously isolating high-frequency electromagnetic interference (EMI) and radio frequency interference (RFI) from high-power motors, frequency converters, and other interference sources in the field.
Interchangeability and Suffix: The -530 suffix code specifically indicates the factory-calibrated physical length option for the cable assembly. Ensure this length conforms to the rack's mechanical layout to avoid over-tightening or excessive bending.
Hot-swap Support: Designed to maintain system data availability. If a redundant I/O module needs to be replaced, this cable will remain connected to the terminal assembly, while the spare module will smoothly absorb the energized physical signal load.
