ABB IMFEC12 is a legacy analog input module used in ABB Bailey INFI 90 and Harmony Rack control systems. It receives conventional analog process signals and makes the measured values available to the controller.
IMFEC12 belongs to the FEC analog-input family and is documented by ABB as an OEM repair-supported legacy module. Installed systems commonly use the NTAI05 termination arrangement, so the module and termination hardware must be checked together.
ABB IMFEC12 should be replaced only after confirming channel count, signal ranges, termination cable, firmware and controller configuration. ABB SPFEC12 is the current HR Series analog-input evolution option, subject to engineering verification for the installed cabinet.
