Features:
- CPU CONTROLLER module
- High-performance safety platform
- Designed for large-scale, safety-critical production processes
This system provides comprehensive process monitoring, emergency shutdown, and critical control functions to ensure safe operation in complex industrial environments such as oil and gas, power generation, and chemicals. It integrates modular I/O, redundant processors, and configurable safety logic, enabling operators to implement customized safety and automation strategies while maintaining high availability.
In addition to safety controls, the system supports real-time diagnostics, system monitoring, and predictive maintenance. Its user-friendly interface and scalable architecture allow for seamless integration with existing control systems, supporting efficient process monitoring, automated reporting, and improved operational efficiency.
The HIMAX X-CPU01 HIMA CPU module may still be available for purchase and support from Moore Automated Company beyond End-Of-Life (EOL) by the manufacturer (OEM).

The system works by continuously acquiring signals from field devices and sensors, processing these inputs through a redundant safety controller, and executing pre-configured safety logic. Based on an evaluation of these signals, the system generates deterministic output actions to control actuators, trigger alarms, or initiate emergency shutdown procedures, thereby ensuring the reliable and safe operation of industrial processes.
Safety Logic Execution: Executes critical logic for emergency stop (ESD), fire and gas (F&G) detection, and process interlocks.
Redundancy Management: In a high-availability configuration, one X-CPU 01 can manage the redundancy of up to three additional processor modules.
Safe Communication: Manages secure data exchange between the HIMA controller and remote I/O units via SafeEthernet.
System Diagnostics: Continuously performs hardware and software self-tests and stores event logs from across the system for detailed fault analysis.
