ABB NTMP01 is a multifunction processor termination unit for Harmony Rack and INFI 90 control-system hardware. Its role is defined by the connected module, cable and field or network circuits.
Replacement requires confirmation of the complete model, revision, module pairing, terminal assignments and cabinet installation rather than selection by appearance alone.

NTMP01 provides two isolated RS-232-C ports and one non-isolated RS-485 port for compatible Harmony Rack controllers and communication interfaces. Verify the controller family, NKTU cable, jumper settings, port mode and serial parameters before commissioning.
System Compatibility:
- ABB documents NTMP01 with rack controllers, MFP/BRC families and Cnet communication interfaces using the specified cable and port configuration.
- Match the module cable and hardware revision.
- Verify field or network wiring before commissioning.
It terminates controller serial communications for engineering, computer-interface, transfer and third-party communication applications.

Isolate the controller, match the NKTU cable and port, set DTE or DCE and RS-485 options correctly, verify grounding and test serial communication at the configured baud rate.
