The OS9600/OS9700-CMM communicates with all guide rail boards via an internal mid-board bus and collects sensor data from each hardware unit using a dedicated management channel. Its core processor runs the AOS operating system and is responsible for maintaining the global routing table (RIB) and distributing it to the hardware forwarding engine (ASIC) of each service board. Simultaneously, it monitors system health through a continuous hardware heartbeat detection mechanism. If the primary module fails, the backup module will take over control based on real-time synchronized configuration data, thus achieving high system availability.
