The MVTP31V1CB0751E is a high-performance power control module for industrial drive systems, primarily used for power conversion and motor drive control. It stably regulates input power, output voltage, and current to meet load demands, thereby achieving precise control of motors or other actuators.
The MVTP31V1CB0751E integrates comprehensive protection and monitoring functions, including overcurrent, overvoltage, overtemperature, and short-circuit protection, and features real-time status feedback. By continuously monitoring key electrical parameters, this module can respond promptly to abnormal situations, improving system safety and reliability, and effectively reducing equipment maintenance costs and downtime risks.
The MVTP31V1CB0751E Alstom Protection Relay Module may still be available for purchase and support from Moore Automated Company beyond End-Of-Life (EOL) by the manufacturer (OEM).

Its working principle is to detect the voltage drop in the high-impedance protection circuit. Under normal circumstances, the voltage is close to zero; however, when the secondary circuit of the bus or current transformer is open, the voltage will rise. When the voltage exceeds the user-set threshold (usually 1V to 16V), the relay will issue a delayed alarm and can selectively short-circuit the faulty circuit to stabilize the system.
High Impedance Busbar Protection: Continuously monitors busbars in solutions such as GE Vernova MCAG or MFAC.
Limited Ground Fault (REF) Solution: Ensures the secondary side wiring between the current transformer (CT) and the protective relay remains intact to prevent false tripping.
Open Circuit Detection: Specifically designed to detect and alert operators to open circuits in the busbar or main current transformer, which could otherwise lead to dangerous high-voltage situations or protection failure.
