The X20CP1486 is a high-performance CPU for the X20 System. This CPU can be used anywhere from high-end applications in machine manufacturing to demanding tasks in process control.

Ethernet and USB are onboard. In addition, the CPU has a POWERLINK connection for real-time communication. The only differences from the X20CP3486 are that the X20CP1486 only has one slot for interface modules and a smaller width.

The X20CP1486 B&R High-performance CPU module may still be available for purchase and support from Moore Automated Company beyond End-Of-Life (EOL) by the manufacturer (OEM).
