The 1900/65A continuously monitors vibration, position, speed and temperature variables for qualified rotating equipment. The 172323-01 monitor assembly processes sensor signals and alarm logic, while the 167699-02 display module provides local channel, status and configuration access.
Before replacement, save the complete 1900 configuration file and record both hardware labels, revisions, installed mounting, field wiring, sensor types, channel ranges, setpoints, relay logic and communication settings. After installation, verify every channel, relay and recorder output under a controlled commissioning procedure.

Transducer Channels 1 through 4 can be configured for acceleration, velocity, radial vibration, thrust, position or speed measurements with the supported sensor type. Temperature Channels 5 through 8 accept the documented thermocouple and RTD types.
Preserve the channel type, units, filter corners, full-scale range, OK logic and alarm time delays from the approved configuration. Do not infer channel settings from the physical module alone.
Six SPDT relay outputs use configurable OK, Alert and Danger logic. Four 4-20 mA outputs can map a selected variable from any channel, while the monitor and display provide buffered signal access for Channels 1 through 4.
The unit provides built-in Ethernet and software-configurable RS232/485 communication. Confirm whether the installed configuration includes the optional Modbus Gateway before restoring register mappings or connecting a DCS, SCADA, PLC or System 1 client.
