The Bently Nevada 146054-058-20-02-05 MOD:173931-011-058 is a specialized member of the 3300 Ceramic Capped Probe family. Bently Nevada developed the 146054 series for installations in which the front of the probe-case assembly can be exposed to corrosive gases or liquids. The alumina ceramic cap and 304 stainless-steel case provide additional protection for demanding applications such as anhydrous ammonia and other extreme-pH environments.
The ceramic-to-metal front interface is helium leak-tested by Bently Nevada to establish a hermetic seal, while the standard ceramic-capped design is rated to 34 bar (500 psi). The probe is intended to operate as part of a compatible 3300 proximity-monitoring system using the appropriate Proximitor Sensor and extension cable.
The 146054-058-20-02-05 MOD:173931-011-058 Bently Nevada 3300 Proximity Probe may still be available for purchase and support from Moore Automated Company beyond End-Of-Life (EOL) by the manufacturer (OEM).

The 146054 base configuration uses a 3/8-24 UNF 2A mounting thread. The OEM drawing identifies approximately 7.0 mm and 7.2 mm body diameters, while the standard ordering structure permits different case lengths and total cable lengths.
The MOD:173931-011-058 designation is important when replacing this probe. The publicly available OEM datasheet does not provide a decoding table for this specific modification number, so its mechanical or application-specific characteristics should be preserved exactly when sourcing a replacement rather than substituted based only on the standard 146054 ordering code.
The 3300 Ceramic Capped Probe is compatible with the 3300 Proximitor Sensor and extension cable. The probe, cable, and Proximitor Sensor should therefore be treated as a complete measurement chain when checking replacement compatibility.
