Features:

  • PROXPAC Proximity Transducer Assembly
  • PROXPAC Proximity Transducer, Metric
  • Similar in external appearanceand mounting detail to 31000/32000 Proximity Probe Housing Assemblies
It offers the same advantages and features as these conventional housings forexternal adjustment of, and access to, proximity probes. However, the PROXPACR Assembly also contains its own Proximitor Sensor inside the housing's cover.

This design makes the PROXPACR Assembly a completely self-containedproximity probe system, and eliminates the need for an extension cable betweenthe probe and its associated Proximitor Sensor. It also eliminates the need for aseparate Proximitore housing. For short cable runs, field wiring is connecteddirectly between the monitors and PROXPACR Assemblies.

The 330801-28-04-105-00-02 Bently Nevada PROXPAC Proximity Transducer may still be available for purchase and support from Moore Automated Company beyond End-Of-Life (EOL) by the manufacturer (OEM).

The PROXPACR housing is made of Polyphenylene Sulfide (PPS) which is anadvanced, molded thermoplastic. It was chosen specifically to replace previoussteel and aluminum housings offered by Bently Nevada, and incorporates glass andconductive fibers in the PPS for added strength and electrostatic dissipation. ThePROXPACR housing is rated for Type 4X and for IP66 environments for extraprotection in severe environments.
Unless otherwise noted, the following specifications apply from +18°C to +27°C(+64°F to +80°F) with a -24 Vdc power supply, a 10 kS load, a Bently Nevadasupplied AlSI 4140 steel target and a probe gapped at 1.27 mm (50 mils).
