The Bently Nevada 330876-01-90-00-05 is a 3300 XL 50 mm Proximity Probe with a ½-20 threaded straight-exit case, a 9.0 m total probe length, a High Temperature FluidLoc cable, and the multiple-approval configuration. It forms part of a complete 3300 XL 50 mm transducer system consisting of the probe, extension cable, and 3300 XL 50 mm Proximitor Sensor.
The 3300 XL 50 mm system is specifically designed for the demanding differential-expansion environment of large steam turbine generators. Its large-diameter sensing coil provides the longest linear measurement range in Bently Nevada's eddy-current transducer line, while the probe construction supports continuous operation at temperatures up to 200°C and intermittent operation up to 250°C.

The probe uses a 75 Ω triaxial PFA-insulated FluidLoc cable. The 3300 XL 50 mm system also uses high-temperature ClickLoc connectors, and Bently Nevada supplies connector protectors with the probe and extension cable to help prevent connector contamination.
Bently Nevada recommends verifying correct transducer operation during initial installation and periodically afterward. A suitable sliding mounting arrangement can allow the transducer to be moved relative to the rotor collar so that the measurement range and probe gap can be checked during installation and verification.
