Features:
- PROXPAC XL Proximity Transducer Assembly
- Similar to our 31000/32000 Proximity Probe Housing Assemblies
- Made of Polyphenylene Sulfide (PPS), which is an advanced, molded thermoplastic
The assembly offers the same advantages and features as the 31000 and 32000 housings for accessing and externally adjusting proximity probes. However, the housing cover of the PROXPAC XL Assembly also contains its own 3300 XL Proximitor sensor.
This design makes the PROXPAC XL Assembly a completely self-contained proximity probe system, and eliminates the need for an extension cable between the probe and its associated Proximitor sensor. It also eliminates the need for a separate Proximitor housing, as the field wiring connects directly between the monitors and PROXPAC XL Assemblies.
The 330881-28-00-060-00-02 Bently Nevada PROXPAC Proximity Transducer Assembly may still be available for purchase and support from Moore Automated Company beyond End-Of-Life (EOL) by the manufacturer (OEM).

The PROXPAC XL housing is made of polyphenylene sulfide (PPS), an advanced molding thermoplastic material. This material replaces the steel and aluminum previously used in Bently Nevada's product line. Furthermore, glass fiber and conductive fibers are added to the PPS to enhance housing strength and more effectively dissipate static charge. The PROXPAC XL housing meets Type 4X and IP66 protection ratings, providing extra protection in harsh environments.
Integrated Condition Monitoring: Used for non-contact measurement of shaft vibration and axial position in high-speed rotating machinery such as steam turbines, gas turbines, and compressors.
Space-Constrained Installation: By mounting the Proximitor sensor directly onto the machine housing, this component eliminates the need for separate extension cables and dedicated remote sensor housings, simplifying field wiring.
Extreme Industrial Environments: The housing is made of polyphenylene sulfide (PPS), an advanced thermoplastic material reinforced with glass fiber and conductive fibers for effective static charge dissipation. Its IP66 and 4X protection ratings effectively protect against moisture and corrosive substances.
