The Velomitor XA (Extended Application) sensor is a ruggedized version of the Bently Nevada 330500 Velomitor sensor. Its 316L stainless steel housing and unique weatherproof connectors and cable assembly allow for enclosure-less installation. The Velomitor XA sensor cable assembly is suitable for wet environments, and with proper installation of the matching extension cable, the Velomitor XA sensor meets IP-65 and NEMA 4X dustproof rating requirements.
The 330525-00 is designed to provide precise analog signal output for industrial control and automation systems. Its primary function is to convert digital commands from controllers or distributed control systems into precisely regulated voltage or current signals to drive actuators, valves, or other field devices. The 330525-00 provides high-resolution and stable analog outputs, enabling precise control of industrial processes, ensuring stable operation, high process accuracy, and reliable feedback for closed-loop regulation.
The 330525-00 Bently Nevada 330525 Velomitor XA Piezo-velocity Sensor may still be available for purchase and support from Moore Automated Company beyond End-Of-Life (EOL) by the manufacturer (OEM).

The 330525-00 operates based on digital-to-analog conversion and signal conditioning technology. Control commands from the system are transmitted to the module as digital signals, where an internal digital-to-analog converter (DAC) converts them into proportional analog voltage or current outputs. The module integrates filtering and isolation circuitry to eliminate noise and prevent interference, ensuring signal integrity. These conditioned analog outputs are then provided to field devices, enabling real-time precise actuation and providing reliable, repeatable, and accurate control in industrial automation environments.
This sensor is used for non-contact measurement of the vibration velocity of the casing of rotating machinery, especially suitable for harsh or outdoor environments:
1. Heavy Machinery: Steam turbines, gas turbines, compressors, and large pumps/motors.
2. Auxiliary Equipment: Fans, blowers, and centrifuges.
3. Wet/Water Immersion Environments: Its 316L stainless steel housing and weatherproof connectors allow for direct mounting without an external enclosure and meet IP-65 and NEMA 4X standards.
