Features:

  • Industrial Control Board
  • Designed for use in specialized onboard electronic systems within the railway rolling stock industry
  • High-performance rail transit control board
CAMP-01 is primarily responsible for the logic control and signal processing of the train's braking system. It coordinates the distribution of dynamic braking and air braking in real time, ensuring smooth and safe deceleration of the train under various load and speed conditions.

In terms of specific functions, CAMP-01 possesses powerful data acquisition and communication capabilities. It communicates at high speed with other subsystems (such as traction control and anti-skid protection systems) via the onboard CAN bus network and monitors data transmitted from pressure and speed sensors in real time.

The CAMP-01 FAIVELEY Control Board may still be available for purchase and support from Moore Automated Company beyond End-Of-Life (EOL) by the manufacturer (OEM).

CAMP-01 employs microprocessor-based closed-loop control logic. It first receives braking commands from the driver controller or automatic driving system and calculates the target braking torque by combining the vehicle's current load (empty/full load signal) and real-time speed. Subsequently, the control board outputs a pulse width modulation (PWM) signal or analog signal to drive the electro-pneumatic switching valve (E-P valve), adjusting the pressure within the brake cylinder. Simultaneously, it continuously compares the feedback pressure with the target pressure, dynamically correcting it to ensure that the output braking force is highly consistent with the demand.
The CAMP-01 board is widely used in the control of key train subsystems:
  • Braking Systems: Manages electro-pneumatic braking logic and anti-slip protection (WSP).
  • Door Control: Responsible for passenger door opening and closing logic and safety interlocks.
  • HVAC and Auxiliary Power Supply: Monitors air conditioning system operating parameters and manages energy.

Ask our team:

  • How does CAMP-01 achieve high-precision signal acquisition and analog front-end conditioning in electrically heterogeneous industrial environments?
CAMP-01 typically integrates analog front-end circuitry along with noise attenuation, impedance adaptation, and signal linearization mechanisms to ensure measurement accuracy when connected to various field instruments.
  • How does CAMP-01 support configurability and parameter abstraction for system commissioning and lifecycle optimization?
CAMP-01 typically provides a structured set of parameters and firmware-level configurability, enabling engineers to adjust input scaling, filtering characteristics, and communication profiles during the commissioning phase.
  • What diagnostic intelligence and self-monitoring functions are built into CAMP-01 to support a predictive maintenance framework?
CAMP-01 is typically equipped with internal health monitoring programs capable of detecting signal anomalies, communication degradation, and hardware-level inconsistencies, thereby supporting predictive maintenance strategies.
  • How does CAMP-01 manage data integrity assurance and error detection in high-throughput signal processing operations?
CAMP-01 typically uses checksum verification, cyclic redundancy check, and structured data frames to ensure data integrity during high-frequency data acquisition and transmission cycles.
  • What is the basic functional topology and embedded processing architecture of CAMP-01 in the industrial control or automation ecosystem?
CAMP-01 is typically described as a compact control or acquisition module designed as an intermediate processing node in a distributed automation architecture to perform structured data acquisition, signal conditioning, and logic preprocessing.
