This module is designed specifically for large industrial equipment such as gas turbines, steam turbines, and wind turbines, and is a stand-alone computer. Its primary responsibility is to run the control system logic for specific applications, execute complex dynamic control algorithms, and act as the central processing unit (CPU) of the entire distributed control system, thereby ensuring the high-speed, high-reliability operation of power plant-level heavy-duty electrical equipment.
This circuit board boasts superior industrial-grade network connectivity, featuring multiple dedicated Ethernet interfaces, a high-frequency serial port, and multi-functional LED status indicators on its front panel. It can not only communicate at high speed and in real-time with various field I/O packets via a dedicated industrial I/O network (IONet), but also upload field data to human-machine interfaces (HMIs) and engineering workstations via the unit data highway (UDH).

This interface uses an isolated physical channel to securely isolate system parameters from standard office computing traffic.
IONet Communication Ports: Dual 10/100Base-TX Ethernet ports transmit information exclusively via IONet. IONet is a proprietary high-speed private network protocol that supports time synchronization (IEEE 1588) between the controller and remote I/O components with an accuracy of ±100 microseconds.
Serial Link Matrix: Includes three built-in high-speed serial link ports and a dedicated RJ-45 UART serial connection port for terminal programming and diagnostic interfaces.
Diagnostic LED Indicators: Clearly visible diagnostic indicator lights are located on the edge of the panel to track operating status: power, startup, online, flash, DC, diagnostics, and link/activity status cycles.
For mission-critical utility sites, up to three IS220UCSAH1A modules can be mounted side-by-side on a single panel. This compact layout allows them to run the same application code simultaneously, enabling seamless hardware failover in a three-module redundancy (TMR) voting system scheme.
