The HIMA F3422 has obtained the highest level of international safety certification (e.g., SIL 3) and is primarily responsible for executing user-written safety logic programs. It boasts extremely high processing speed and powerful data processing capabilities, enabling simultaneous monitoring of thousands of safety-related input/output signals.
As the "brain" of a safety system, the F3422 is widely used in high-risk industries such as oil, chemical, natural gas, and power, ensuring the safe shutdown of critical processes in the event of a failure. The HIMA F3422 employs unique hardware fault-tolerance technology. This module typically integrates two or more microprocessors that run the same safety control program synchronously and "vote" on all input data. In each scan cycle, the module first acquires signals from field sensors.
After cross-referencing and logical operations between processors, the system only issues control commands to field actuators when the calculation results of all processors are completely consistent. If a processor experiences a hardware failure leading to data inconsistency, the system activates its built-in diagnostics, isolates the affected processor, and seamlessly switches to a redundant backup channel. This ensures that the entire system is always under the highest level of safety monitoring without interrupting industrial production.
1.Emergency Shutdown System (ESD): Automatically isolates fuel lines, stops feed pumps, and vents hazardous gases in the event of a major emergency at the plant.
2.Burner Management System (BMS): Safely controls fuel supply valves, ignition transformers, and dampers in industrial boilers and furnaces.
3.Fire and Gas System (F&G): Activates audible and visual alarms, flashing lights, deluge valves, and fire suppression systems upon detection of hazardous gases.
4.High-Pressure Interlock System (HIPPS): Triggers safety-critical isolation valves to prevent overpressure from upstream high-pressure fluids on downstream weaker equipment.
5.Turbine Control System (TMC): Safely opens or closes trip valves in the event of turbine or gas turbine overspeeding or lubrication system failure.
