The Schneider Electric 140DDO35301 module is a discrete output module, an indispensable component in automated processes. This module contains 32 outputs, efficiently divided into four groups of eight outputs each. It employs positive logic mode for easy integration into control systems. The module operates on a 24V DC output voltage and can handle a maximum load of 16A. Notably, its absolute maximum withstand voltage is 50V.
The module features a 2A surge current capacity and a maximum leakage current of only 1mA at 24V. Inter-group isolation voltage reaches up to 500Vrms, significantly improving the safety and reliability of multi-channel systems. In terms of energy efficiency, the 140DDO35301 consumes 5W and has a bus current of 330mA under normal operating conditions. This compact yet powerful module weighs only 0.45 kg and is suitable for various applications requiring discrete outputs in industrial environments.
The 140DDO35301 Schneider Electric Discrete output module may still be available for purchase and support from Moore Automated Company beyond End-Of-Life (EOL) by the manufacturer (OEM).

The front panel features a status matrix for real-time monitoring of module status:
32 green LEDs (numbered 1-32): Indicate the logic status (on/off) of each output channel.
1 red LED (F): Illuminates when an internal module fault or external circuit fault is detected.
1 green LED (Active): Constantly lit or flashing, used to confirm normal communication between Quantum backplanes.
This module features electronic short-circuit protection. If an external short circuit occurs in any channel, the module will automatically shut down the affected channel group to protect its internal circuitry.
The Modicon Quantum hardware series belongs to the legacy platform. Schneider Electric officially discontinued the 140DDO35301 model on December 31, 2022. This model remains within its long-term support period. Direct migration solution: For system retrofitting, upgrades, or modernization, Schneider Electric designates the Modicon X80 platform's BMXDDO3202K or BMXDDO6402K as functionally equivalent replacements.
