The Schneider Electric MA-0329-001 provides a reliable connectivity solution for the Modicon Quantum series. Its F-type connector is reinforced with a robust metal construction, ensuring durability in a variety of applications. The connector is 16 cm long, 16.5 cm wide, and 2 cm high, weighing 161 grams (5.68 ounces). It is compatible with RG-6 coaxial cable for easy connection. The MA-0329-001 connector is quick and easy to install, simplifying the installation process while ensuring effective connections in a variety of applications.
In terms of environmental durability, the MA-0329-001 connector offers excellent anti-static performance (4 kV contact discharge, 8 kV air discharge, compliant with IEC 801-2) and electromagnetic field resistance (frequency range 80 to 2000 MHz, 10 V/m, compliant with IEC 801-3). This connector is mercury-free and complies with multiple sustainability directives, including the EU RoHS Directive, the China RoHS Directive, and the WEEE Directive.
The MA0329001 Schneider Electric F Connector Cassette may still be available for purchase and support from Moore Automated Company beyond End-Of-Life (EOL) by the manufacturer (OEM).

In the traditional Modicon Quantum PLC architecture, the MA0329001 can be directly applied to rack-mount or remote I/O (RIO) modules. By securely clamping itself to a heavy-duty RG-6 coaxial cable, it effectively isolates high-frequency communication from strong electromagnetic interference (EMI) generated by surrounding equipment such as large motor starters or frequency converters. The terminals can be firmly fixed to the panel without any special or dedicated mounting tools.
Discontinuation Phase: Schneider Electric has been gradually ceasing production of this part number in multiple regional markets worldwide (specific discontinuation dates vary depending on distribution channels, ranging from early 2023 to early 2026).
Standard Service Termination: Schneider Electric commits to providing maintenance, field technical support, and older spare parts for this part number until December 31, 2030.
Alternative Products: The manufacturer has not yet listed any hardware that can directly replace this part number. Therefore, this part number remains an important resource actively sought by MRO (Maintenance, Repair, and Operations) departments for maintaining existing coaxial remote I/O networks without requiring a costly, comprehensive factory upgrade to a modern Modicon M580 Ethernet network.
