Each plug-in slot (H10/H11, H20/H21, H30/H31) is equipped with two diagnostic LEDs to display the status of the communication module; the meaning of the LEDs depends on the specific communication module. Sending the L bus basic sampling time to the communication module (for synchronization); this function is not applicable to SS4, SS5, and SS52 communication modules.

Sending a clock interrupt signal from the communication module to CS7 to set the CPU module's real-time clock; this function is not applicable to SS4, SS5, and SS52 communication modules. The communication module can generate an interrupt signal on the L bus. However, it must be ensured that only one interface module performs this function (configured).
