Siemens 6ES7416-2XK02-0AB0 is a legacy SIMATIC S7-400 CPU 416-2 central processing module for high-performance modular PLC applications.
The CPU provides 0.8 MB code memory and 0.8 MB data memory, an MPI/PROFIBUS DP interface and a second PROFIBUS DP interface operating up to 12 Mbit/s. The address space supports up to 16 KB inputs and 16 KB outputs with extensive timers and counters.
Siemens discontinued this CPU and identifies 6ES7416-2XP07-0AB0 as the successor. A migration requires firmware, memory card, communication, rack and STEP 7 project compatibility checks.
