Features:
- SM 322 digital output module for SIMATIC S7-300, with 16 electrically isolated relay outputs grouped in sets of eight.

The 6ES7322-1HH01-0AA0 switches discrete AC or DC loads from an S7-300 controller through relay contacts. The isolated groups suit compatible solenoid valves, contactors, motor starters and signal lamps when used within the specified load limits.
This is a relay-output module, not a transistor-output equivalent or a drop-in module for another SIMATIC family. Before substitution, check the complete order number, load type and ratings, group wiring, front connector and hardware configuration. Siemens lists product phase-out effective 1 October 2023.

Load selection
The documented load-voltage ranges are 24–120 V DC and 24–230 V AC. Suitable loads include solenoid valves, contactors, motor starters, fractional-horsepower motors and signal lamps.
Confirm inrush current, switching frequency, protective devices and the 50 W maximum lamp-load rating at 230 V AC. Observe Siemens restrictions for adjacent loaded outputs.
Commissioning checks
- Verify the rack slot and 20-pin front-connector coding.
- Check both isolated output groups and their common wiring.
- Confirm the DC or AC load supply and circuit protection.
- Test each output with the connected load under the approved procedure.
- Record the final wiring and controller-address assignment.
