S800 I/O is a comprehensive, distributed, and modular process I/O system that communicates with parent controllers over industry-standard fieldbus technology.
The TU860 is an MTU for S800 I/O on Ethernet and connects up to 12 single or redundant S 800I/O Modules and Module Termination Units and hosts single or redundant Ethernet Adapters (TC810, TC811) and Ethernet FCI Communications Interface Modules (CI845s) for reliable communications with the AC 800M process controllers.
The TU860 ABB Ethernet Fieldbus Communication Interface Module may still be available for purchase and support from Moore Automated Company beyond End-Of-Life (EOL) by the manufacturer (OEM).

Hot-swappable: Supports true hot-swapping of installed CI845 or TC81x modules without interrupting data flow to other modules in the cluster.
Mechanical Slide Switch: Integrated active safety mechanical locking slide switch automatically isolates local power to a specific slot before a technician lifts and releases the module from its base.
Onboard Diagnostics: Built-in local temperature sensor transmits continuous rack temperature feedback directly to the control architecture.
