Features:
- Module of GE Fanuc series 90-30 PLC systems
- Series 90-30 Analog I/O Module
- This module is an analog voltage / current combination module
This module is an analog voltage/current combination module. It requires an external power supply of 20 to 30 VDC (nominal 24 VDC) with a permissible voltage ripple of 10%. With internal +5V power, the module consumes 95 mA; with external power, the module consumes 129 mA.
The IC693ALG442 analog current/voltage combination module offers two current ranges: 4 to 20 mA or 0 to 20 mA. It provides open-loop fault detection in current mode. Unipolar mode allows users to adjust data and is the default mode for this module. It also sends status information and updates to the PLC, such as module performance data, overload/open-circuit detection, alarm status updates, and user-provided system power status updates.
The IC693ALG442 GENERAL ELECTRIC Analog I/O Module may still be available for purchase and support from Moore Automated Company beyond End-Of-Life (EOL) by the manufacturer (OEM).

With internal +5V power, the IC693ALG442 combination module consumes 95 mA; with external user power, the module consumes 129 mA. The 20-pin connector on the front of the module facilitates field wiring. If the received value is out of range, the module will convert it to the nearest valid value and send it to the ADC. By default, both outputs are set to standard operating mode.
1. Software Configuration: Except for the hardware jumpers required for current input mode, all channel settings (range, scaling) are controlled via software (Logicmaster or Proficy).
2. Ramp Mode: The output can be configured to ramp between values, adjusting every millisecond.
3. Diagnostics: Provides status information to the CPU, including module health status, open-circuit or overload detection in output mode, and input alarm limits.
4. Fault Detection: Monitors for wiring problems in current-mode output and reports them as open-loop faults.
