The assembly drives axis 3 of the matching IRB 6700 or inverted IRB 6700 configuration.
Because multiple payload/reach variants exist, the complete robot data plate and motor suffix must be verified.
The 3HAC055700-003 ABB Axis 3 Robot Motor with Pinion is supported through ABB robot service channels and may also be supplied by Moore Automated for installed-base maintenance.

Compatibility is established from the complete manipulator type, robot serial number, motor colour and mechanical interface.

- Connector and sealing inspection
The replacement procedure must preserve the documented gear engagement, seals, attachment hardware and cable routing.
Service Guidance:
- Secure manipulator before work
- Follow ABB lifting and repair procedures
- Recalibrate affected robot axes
