- Connects targets up to a maximum physical cable run of 20 meters (65.6 feet)
The Allen Bradley 1734-4IOL is a powerful IO-Link master module that integrates seamlessly into the Point I/O product line. Featuring four independent channels, it offers flexible connectivity to a wide range of sensors and actuators to meet the needs of automation applications. Powered by a 5V DC backplane, it consumes 100 mA. Its input ratings are 24V DC and 12 mA, efficiently handling input signals from connected devices.
The output rating is 24V DC, with each channel drawing 0.15 mA of current, effectively controlling connected components. The module has a minimum on-state input voltage of 13V DC and a maximum input voltage of 30V DC. The output voltage range is 19.2V DC to 28.8V DC, ensuring sufficient performance in a variety of applications.
The 1734-4IOL Allen Bradley IO-Link Master Module may still be available for purchase and support from Moore Automated Company beyond End-Of-Life (EOL) by the manufacturer (OEM).

In terms of environmental specifications, the 1734-4IOL module operates over a temperature range of -20 to 55 degrees Celsius. Under storage conditions, this module can withstand extreme temperatures ranging from -40 to 85 degrees Celsius. It is ideal for industrial environments where reliability and temperature fluctuation adaptability are critical.
The module features a row of LED indicators on the front for easy on-site inspection:
Module Status (Node): Solid green during normal operation; flashing red in the event of an unrecoverable firmware failure.
Network Status (Network): Tracks the integrity of the connection to the main network adapter communication interface.
Channel Activity (0 to 3): Flashes or toggles status based on whether the IO-Link handshake was successfully established or whether a partial short circuit was detected in the channel line.
