The Allen-Bradley 2711-T10C1 is a PanelView 1000 standard operator terminal. This industrial device, also known as a Human-Machine Interface (HMI) or Human-Machine Interaction Interface (MMI), is primarily used for centralized automation control of machines or processes, thereby improving operator responsiveness and operational accuracy. Through a 10-inch color display and touchscreen interface, factory operators can monitor and input control commands from a central location on the shop floor.
Like other products in the Allen-Bradley 2711 series, the 2711-T10C1 terminal belongs to the Allen-Bradley PanelView Standard 1000 series. This PanelView Standard 1000 terminal is designed for a wide range of industrial machinery and factory systems, serving as an efficient machine interface. Users can input information about running applications via the 2711-T10C1 terminal's touchscreen. It features a clear 10.1-inch multicolor active matrix display. The touchscreen provides a logical control interface, facilitating user operation when applications need to be executed.
The 2711-T10C1 Allen Bradley Operator Terminal Module may still be available for purchase and support from Moore Automated Company beyond End-Of-Life (EOL) by the manufacturer (OEM).

The 2711-T10C1 can communicate with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) such as the PLC5 and SLC500, as well as programmable automation controllers (PACs) including MicroLogix, CompactLogix, and ControlLogix controllers. In addition to Allen-Bradley PLCs and PACs, it also supports third-party controllers. Communication with controllers is via the Remote I/O (RIO) protocol supported by the 2711-T10C1. High-speed, real-time multi-node communication and data exchange can be achieved using Belden Blue Hose cables.
Traditional Control Systems: Designed for integration with older Allen-Bradley controllers (PLC-5, SLC 500) and some newer PACs (MicroLogix, ControlLogix), supporting remote I/O (RIO) communication.
Manufacturing and Process Control: Used in industries such as automotive, chemical, and oil and gas, managing complex operations through a graphical interface.
Material Handling: Real-time display of status data for sorting systems, conveyors, and general equipment.
Food and Beverage: Provides real-time control of the production process, ensuring product consistency and compliance with relevant regulations.
