Information

Overview Manuals Main Features Typical Machine Targets

Features:

  • Extension Cable module
  • 7200 Proximity Transducer Systems 5 mm and 8 mm
  • Noncontacting, gap-to-voltage transducer systems
The 7200 5 mm and 8 mm Proximity Transducer Systems are noncontacting, gap-to-voltage transducer systems that measure static as well as dynamic distances between the probe tip and the observed target. The general application is any requirement for an accurate, noncontacting displacement measurement. However, the most common use is for shaft position and vibration measurements on rotating and reciprocating machinery.

They are designed for use with virtually any machine type including gas and steam turbines, compressors, pumps, centrifuges, electric motors and generators. The systems offer 80 mils (2 mm) of linear measuring range and are compatible with API 670 requirements.

The 21747-065-01 Bently Nevada Extension Cable may still be available for purchase and support from Moore Automated Company beyond End-Of-Life (EOL) by the manufacturer (OEM).
Bently Nevada 21747-065-01 Extension Cable Manuals(Datasheets), Link Important Notice: Other accessories, manuals, cables, calibration data, software, etc. are not included with this equipment unless listed in the above stock item description. All prices are shown in USD.
The 5 mm and 8 mm systems use the same type of Proximitor. Both 5 and 9 metre Proximitors are available. A threeconductor, shielded cable provides the signal output and power source input between 7200 Proximitors and Bently Nevada monitors. Proximitors can be located up to 1,000 feet from standard Bently Nevada monitors without degradation of performance
These cables are commonly found in older, heavy industrial equipment in the power and chemical industries, such as:
conventional steam turbines and gas turbines (e.g., older GE, Westinghouse, or Siemens models);
centrifugal process compressors and large multistage industrial pumps;
and large fans and blowers used in oil refining or raw material production circuits.

Ask our team:

  • What is the operating principle of the 21747-065-01 in a vibration monitoring system?
    The 21747-065-01 is a seismic vibration sensing component designed to convert mechanical vibration energy into a proportional electrical signal for continuous mechanical condition monitoring.
  • How does the 21747-065-01 achieve accurate conversion from mechanical vibration to an electrical output signal?
    The 21747-065-01 employs an electromechanical sensing mechanism to convert velocity- or acceleration-based vibration input into an analog output signal suitable for the monitoring system.
  • Why is the 21747-065-01 particularly effective for low-frequency structural vibration analysis?
    The 21747-065-01 is optimized to detect shell and structural vibration phenomena such as imbalance, loosening, and resonance, especially in the mid-to-low frequency range.
  • Which industrial machinery and equipment will benefit most from the deployment of the 21747-065-01?
    The 21747-065-01 is typically used in rotating and reciprocating machinery, such as pumps, compressors, motors, fans, and turbines, for continuous vibration monitoring.
  • In what environmental adaptability features does the 21747-065-01 demonstrate operational stability?
