The Bently Nevada 143493-00-080-080-70-00 is an eddy current displacement sensor probe, belonging to the 3300 XL NSv series, designed specifically for industrial rotating machinery with limited space or small target dimensions. Its core function is to achieve high-precision non-contact measurement of mechanical displacement and vibration, enabling real-time monitoring of the operating status of critical equipment such as centrifugal air compressors, refrigeration compressors, and high-speed shaft systems.
In specific industrial applications, this probe is primarily responsible for monitoring the radial vibration, static radial position (shaft center trajectory), and axial movement (thrust position) of the shaft. Due to its unique NSv (Narrow Side-view) design, it excels in harsh environments where traditional 8mm probes cannot function properly due to mounting hole back-cut limitations, side interference, or excessively small shaft diameters (such as less than 51 mm). In actual industrial operation, this probe must form a complete three-stage measurement circuit with the matching extension cable and 3300 XL NSv proximity sensor. Since the probe itself comes with an 8.0-meter cable, typically only a 1.0-meter extension cable is needed in the field to strictly meet the system's required total calibration length of 9.0 meters. The preamplifier converts minute gap changes between the probe end face and the shaft surface into a standard dynamic voltage signal and continuously transmits it to the Bentley 3500 monitoring system, providing millisecond-level interlocking trip protection and online condition diagnostics for compact, high-speed rotating equipment.
