When used with the 3300 XL proximity sensor and XL extension cable, this system provides an output voltage proportional to the distance between the probe tip and the conductive surface being measured. The system can measure both static (position) and dynamic (vibration) data.
Its primary applications include vibration and position measurement in hydrodynamic bearing machinery, as well as adhesion phasor and velocity measurement. The system provides accurate and stable signal output over a wide temperature range.
The 330172-00-20-90-01-05 Bently Nevada 3300 5mm Proximity Probes may still be available for purchase and support from Moore Automated Company beyond End-Of-Life (EOL) by the manufacturer (OEM).

Because this probe has a built-in 9.0-meter lead, it must be connected directly to your Proximitor sensor. Connecting any intermediate extension cable to the 9-meter probe will cause the loop's tuning capacitor to oversaturate. This can result in severe signal distortion, calibration scale factor drift, or a fault signal (displayed as a straight line) on the monitoring rack.
