CC-PWRR01 is a Honeywell Series C redundant power system with two AC-powered supplies and a 20 A DC output capacity. It supplies the Series C controller and I/O power distribution network; this version does not include the 24 V battery-backup assembly.
The Honeywell CC-PWRR01 is a redundant power subsystem, identified as assembly 51199939-100 in Honeywell service documentation. Two power supplies serve the same Series C load so a healthy unit can maintain cabinet power if its partner fails. The system rating remains 20 A, rather than the sum of both supply ratings. Incoming AC distribution and load allocation must therefore be reviewed together with the controller, I/O and field-power demand.
This configuration provides supply redundancy but does not contain the 24 V backup battery assembly supplied with the battery-backed version. Loss of both AC sources is consequently different from failure of one supply. During maintenance, review each supply alarm, incoming feed and installed component age before disturbing the system. Honeywell recommends planned off-process replacement where possible; any on-process work requires the approved procedure, qualified personnel and the site-specific electrical and hazardous-area controls.
The two installed supplies support a redundant 20 A system. They are not a 40 A capacity upgrade. Check that the surviving supply can carry the connected controller, I/O and field load, and review the independence of the incoming AC feeds before relying on redundancy.
The nominal input is 120/240 V AC at 47-63 Hz. Follow the installed system drawings for protective earth, branch protection, distribution and alarm contacts. A healthy DC reading alone does not establish that both supplies or both incoming sources are available.
Honeywell identifies increasing failure risk as power supplies approach or exceed roughly ten years of service. Arrange inspection and replacement around planned outages where possible. The service-life guidance is not an OEM product-discontinuation date, and it must not be presented as an EOL announcement.
The system must be sized for the load that one healthy supply can sustain. Include the controller, each installed I/O module and any field power drawn through the Series C distribution hardware. Confirm normal and abnormal load conditions against the approved cabinet design. A second supply improves availability; it does not authorize loading this configuration above its 20 A system rating.
Record the installed assembly number, individual supply numbers, incoming feed labels and active alarms before maintenance. Do not remove both supply paths or isolate the healthy feed accidentally. Qualified personnel should use Honeywell service instructions and the site work permit. After replacement, verify both supplies, power-system alarms and the cabinet operating state before closing the maintenance record.
Honeywell includes CC-PWRR01 in its January 2025 Series C power-system service guidance. That document addresses installed-equipment maintenance and does not declare a model-specific discontinuation date. A current OEM lifecycle designation has not been established by the cited sources, so this page does not label the product Active or Discontinued.
Power-supply age and condition should be reviewed against Honeywell maintenance guidance, including the increased failure risk around ten years of service. Moore Automated can confirm the condition, included components and availability of the quoted item; service-life estimates do not extend the OEM rating or establish remaining useful life.
