Features:
- Analog Input with HART Module
- PV protection through an open wire detection diagnostic
- HART-capable, multivariable instruments and multiple modems for fast collection of control variables
The analog input module can accept high-level current or voltage inputs from transmitters and sensors.
This module supports voltage inputs for channels 13-16. When used with the CC-TAIDx1 IOTA, the CC-PAIH02 supports voltage inputs for channels 1-16. A 250-ohm load resistor for each channel is connected to the input via a jumper on the IOTA. The user should disconnect the jumper on the channel intended for voltage emitter input. For channels 13-16, the low-side input is typically connected to the system common terminal via a jumper on the IOTA. The user can disconnect this jumper to enable differential operation, but this must comply with CMV specifications.
The CC-PAIH02 51405038-375 Honeywell High Level Analog Input with HART may still be available for purchase and support from Moore Automated Company beyond End-Of-Life (EOL) by the manufacturer (OEM).

The module first receives standard industrial analog signals (e.g., 4–20 mA current or voltage signals) from the transmitter via field terminals. Signal conditioning, including filtering, isolation, and overvoltage protection, is then performed at the input stage to eliminate electromagnetic interference and ensure signal integrity. The conditioned analog signal is converted to a digital signal by a high-precision analog-to-digital converter (ADC) and transmitted to the control system processor via an internal bus.
This module connects "smart" field instruments to control systems in high-risk industries such as oil and gas, petrochemicals, and power generation:
Smart Field Device Integration: Simultaneously receives 4–20 mA signals and digital HART data from pressure, temperature, flow, and analytical transmitters.
Asset Management: Enables remote configuration, calibration, and real-time health monitoring of field devices via Experion PKS software, reducing manual on-site inspections.
Precision Process Control: High-precision signal acquisition (±0.075% full scale) suitable for critical closed-loop control applications.
Analytical Monitoring: Dedicated to processing weak signals from sensors such as pH electrodes, dissolved oxygen meters, and turbidimeters in analytical configurations.
