Features:
- Fail-safe digital output FTA (24/48/60/110 Vdc, 4 channels)
- The field termination assembly module FS-TSDO-04UNI
- The FTA module has a universal snap-in facility for standard DIN EN rails
The FS-TSDO-04UNI field termination module is the interface between the system interconnect cable SIC-C-12 and external field wiring (screw terminals). The FTA module features a universal snap-on mounting method suitable for standard DIN EN rails, and screw terminals for connecting field wiring.
One pair (redundant pair) of 10213/2/x modules or 10216/2/x modules, with four channels, can be connected to the FS-TSDO-04UNI module via the system interconnect cable SIC-C-12.
The FS-TSDO-04UNI Honeywell Fail-Safe Digital Output module may still be available for purchase and support from Moore Automated Company beyond End-Of-Life (EOL) by the manufacturer (OEM).

The FS-TSDO-04UNI operates based on a digital control signal conversion and isolated power output drive mechanism. After receiving digital control commands from a higher-level control system (such as a PLC or DCS), the module decodes, shapes, and maps the signals through internal logic processing circuits before driving output-stage power devices (such as transistor or relay drive circuits) to achieve on/off control of field equipment.
Safety Instrumented Function (SIF): Serves as a reliable interface between safety controllers and final control elements such as solenoid valves, relays, and shutdown devices.
Emergency Stop (ESD): Essential for de-energizing or restarting machinery during process deviations to ensure a safe operating condition.
Boiler/Boiler Management System (BMS): Used for the safe management of fuel valves and ignition sequences in industrial heating systems.
Fire and Gas (F&G) Circuit: Activates fire suppression systems and audible/visual alarms upon detection of hazardous leaks or flames.
